Cashier-Full Time

Job Overview:

The Cashier is responsible for accurate entry of all cash, credit cards and charge account transactions on the POS terminal.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and computer skills
• Proven working experience in retail as cashier or sales is an asset
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Sales skills
• Action-oriented attitude, self starter and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• A background in the construction industry, as well as, retail and sales an asset
• Physically able to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting and other activities that are necessary to perform job duties
• Flexibility in work schedule to meet the demands of the store and management
