Job Overview:

The Design Install Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Kitchen & Bath Designers with administrative tasks, qualifying customers, answering telephone inquiries concerning product, general housekeeping of department showroom, assist in establishing a vanity program (includes design work), and manage non-sales related items.

  • Must be proficient working with spreadsheets, tracking multiple orders at once and can commit to thoroughly accurate work

  • Advanced Computer skills – Microsoft Office, high proficiency in Excel and Word, and 2020 Design Live
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to work under pressure

  • Proven ability to think critically about both customer needs and work solutions
  • Demonstrate accuracy and seeks to maintain quality standards

  • Work closely with design team to update and inform of changes in ship dates, installations or warranty items
  • Maintain a shared calendar for the department and track all projects
  • Record and submit any claims from warranty/damaged items from orders
  • Communicate and organize client deliveries with our third-party warehouse team
  • Maintain office/showroom organization and tidiness
  • May be required to attend installations and deliveries

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of degree/certificate/diploma in design is preferred, but strong work experience will be considered equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Microsoft Suite and 2020 Design Live
  • 1-3 years of expediting/install coordination, preferably in the residential kitchen & bath design industry
  • Must be able to write legibly and complete simple math problems
  • Must be able to take direction from multiple coworkers at a time

This position will be 20-30 hours a week, depending on the need. This position will be Monday-Friday to start, and eventually include Saturdays once position is established.

Pay: $19.40 – $21.80 per hour
